Starting Procedure
To restar t a war m engine, follow the
procedure for "High Air Temperature".
Normal Air Temperature
10° – 35°C (50° – 95°F)
1. Pull the choke lever (1) up all the way to
Fully ON (A).

2. With the throttle closed, press the starter
button.
3. Immediately after the engine starts, push
the choke lever (1) down to the Detent
Position (B).
NOTICE
Extended use of the choke may impair piston
and cylinder wall lubrication and damage the
engine.
4. Warm up the engine by opening and
closing the throttle slightly.
5. About a half minute after the engine starts,
push the choke lever (1) down all the way
to Fully OFF (C).
6. If idling is unstable, open the throttle
slightly.
