If you have problems with your system, look through this chart and see if you
can solve the problem yourself before calling your dealer or TEAC service
center.
General
No power
e If the battery is discharged, dock the TX-C5i onto the dock of RX-C10i to
recharge the battery.
e Check the connection to the AC power supply. Check and make sure
the AC source is not a switched outlet and that, if it is, the switch is
turned on. Make sure there is power to the AC outlet by plugging
another item such as a lamp or fan into the outlet.
No sound from speakers.
e Check the connection to your amplifier.
e Check the operation of your amplifier.
The sound is noisy or interrupted.
e Bluetooth devices are known to have interference from devices
operating in the same RF frequency (2.4 GHz). Some interference with
microwave ovens and 2.4 GHz cordless phones may be present.
Pairing failed or cancelled.
e The effective range is about 10 meters. Over this range the units cannot
pair together and pairing will be cancelled.
e If there are more than one Bluetooth device, the unit may pair to an
incorrect device. Do the pairing process again.
iPod nano
Will not play.
e Press the click wheel to turn on the iPod nano.
e Software update may solve the problem. Visit the Apple website and
download the latest iPod Software.
Cannot operate the iPod nano.
e Set the HOLD switch of the iPod to off.
