03. INSTRUCTIONS FOR VACUUM SEALING.
1. Connect the vacuum sealer to the mains and
turn on.
2. We recommend waiting around 15 seconds
for the machine to heat up before beginning to
seal the first item.
3. Place the product you want to keep vacuum
packed in a bag for packaging of the appropriate
size, leaving at least 5 cm between the edge of
the bag and the food.
4. Lift the lid. Unroll the bag and place the strip to
be sealed on the non-stick sealing bar (8), making
sure that it is centred within the margins of the
vacuum chamber (10).
5. Lower the lid and press on the sides to secure
it, the system is properly closed when you hear
a "click" on each side. With the pressure from
the closing system, the bag is locked within the
vacuum chamber. If you wish to open the upper
lid once it has been closed, press the two opening
buttons (9) simulta-neously and gently pull the lid
up.
6. This model of vacuum sealer is designed for
operation with an automatic programme. Upon
pressing the "Start" (3) button, the packing ma-
chine starts an automatic vacuum and sealing
cycle.
There may be a situation where the vacuum gas-
kets (6) are deteriorated by use, expiry or im-
proper storage. In this case, the bag will not fit
correctly locked inside the vacuum chamber (10).
If this happens, we advise you to replace the va-
cuum gaskets (6).
7. The bag sealing process can also be started
manually by pressing the "Seal" (5) button. If
you need to cancel the sealing process, press the
button again.
8. The digital display keeps the user informed of
progress:
- When the sealer is at rest the display
shows

remaining until the end of the suction stage.
- The sealing time countdown then starts.
9. The machine stops automatically once sealing
is finished. The lid can be raised gently after the
"beep" which signals that it has been automati-
cally released.
Using the sealer with rolls
This sealer is equipped with a roll hol-
der
storage
space
compatible with 20 x 600 cm and 30 x
600 cm Elma rolls. Up to 2 rolls can be
placed inside. To insert the rolls in their space
the roll holder opening button must be pressed
(3). Then, place the roll in the space, unroll
approximately 20 cm of the roll, inserting the
edge of the roll through the opening where the
roll-cutting blades are located (Figure 1, point 3).
When you want to seal food using rolls, pull the
edge of the roll stored in the machine until extrac-
ting the length of roll required for the size of the
food; an extra margin of 5 cm is recommended.
Slide the roll-cutting blades from left to right to cut
the piece of roll you want to use. Then, insert one
of the edges of the piece of roll in the vacuum
chamber. It must be centred in the vacuum cham-
ber and correctly extended over the sealing bar.
Lower the lid and press the "Seal" button and the
machine will seal the piece of roll at that end,
creating a bag. From that point on, follow the
instructions described in the previous section "3.
Instructions for vacuum sealing with bags".
