Setting Sealing Time
The Digit One S vacuum sealer enables sealing
time to be set by using the digital display. With
the machine at rest press the +/- keys to increase
or decrease the sealing time. The variation inter-
val is 1 second per pulse.
Sealing time should be adjusted according to bag
thickness and the sealing bar temperature. Elma
recommends a sealing time of 5 seconds.
- Pulse function: use the "Pulse" key for in-
creased precision when packing fragile items
manually. Suction of air from the bag will con-
tinue as long as the key is pressed. It may be
pressed intermittently for greater precision.
Once the desired vacuum level has been re-
ached press the "Seal" key to begin the
sealing stage. Once this stage has finished the lid
will be unlocked and emit a "beep".
- Accessory function: this function enables pro-
duction of vacuums in special recipients. Con-
nect the suction tube to the recipient connector
(Figure 1, point 5) and the other end to the re-
cipient (the suction tube and recipients are not

Connect the suction tube to the recipient connec-
tor (Figure 1, point 4) and the other end to the
recipient (the suction tube and recipients are not
included in the vacuum sealer). Press the "Marina-
te" key once the connections are in place to begin
