1 Identification
This instruction leaflet describes only the installation of ABICAR POWER PAK components and the
TCP Clamp manual torch holder. ABICAR POWER PAK consists of the following components:
— 1× welding tractor
ABICAR ADVANCED 42 V or ABICAR 1200 PRO 42 V with oscillator
— 1× welding power source
iMIG POWER 400 with iFEED M 100 wire feed unit, optional with cooling unit KG 10
— 1× ABICAR connection cable 0.5 m
— 1× welding torch
ABIMIG AT 355 LW 4.0 m KZ-2 PT or
ABIMIG WT 440 4.0 m WZ-2 PT or
ABIMIG MTG 455 T 4.0 m KZ-2 PT
— 1× TCP Clamp manual torch holder

2 Safety
Electric shock due to live parts
Fatal electric shocks can occur if components are live during installation.
► Set the main switch on the welding power source to <0> before performing installation work.
► Set the <ON/OFF> switch on the iMIG POWER 400 POWER MODULE to <OFF>.
► Disconnect the power supply.
► Work on the device or system may only be carried out by qualified persons.
Electric shock due to live parts
The <ON/OFF> switch on the iMIG POWER 400 POWER MODULE only shuts off the power supply to
the welding tractor and the ABICAR connection cable for power supply/power source communication.
Components on the power source can still be live.
► Set the main switch on the welding power source to <0> before performing installation work.
► Disconnect the power supply.
► Work on the device or system may only be carried out by qualified persons.
3 Manual torch holder
3.1 Clamping the welding torch in the manual torch holder
The TCP Clamp manual torch holder enables precision re-clamping of the manual torch to the welding
tractor. The shells have a recess that accommodate the contour of the manual torch so that it is not necessary
to re-adjust the TCP (tool center point).
Risk of crushing
Limbs can be crushed due to improper installation or disassembly.
► Keep your hands out of the danger zone.
► Each time the manual torch is clamped, first check the contact surfaces for contamination and adhered
dirt and clean them if necessary. Pay particular attention to the holes in the handle.
