IMPRES 2 Battery Initialization
For a full IMPRES 2 functionality, a new IMPRES 2 battery must be initialized by the charger.
The charger automatically detects the new IMPRES 2 battery, and automatically starts initialization.

IMPRES 2 Pocket Record
When charging the IMPRES 2 batteries, the IMPRES 2 charger records charging information in the
battery memory.
Charging can resume if you remove the IMPRES 2 battery from the IMPRES 2 charger pocket and
within 30 minutes, insert it into the same charger pocket.

Automatic IMPRES 2 Calibration and Reconditioning
IMPRES 2 batteries with the Self-Calibration and Recondition icon on the bat-
tery label does not require calibration and recondition. If the battery is not fully
charged, the IMPRES 2 battery starts charging when docked in the charger. The
LED indicates steady Red when charging and steady Green when charging is
completed.

IMPRES 2 End of Service Life LED Indication
As batteries are used, normal wear reduces available capacity. IMPRES 2 chargers compare IMPRES
2 battery capacity to the battery Rated Capacity.
When the capacity is at a very low value, the IMPRES 2 battery may be nearing its End of Service.
