USE
ATTENTION!
Do not use the machine without full filter package.
The MistEliminator will operate by turning on the connected
extraction fan/system.
CAUTION!
Always switch off the connected extraction fan/
system when the machine tool is not in operation.
Using the MistEliminator when the machine tool is not
in operation will lead to evaporation of the aqueous
(water) part of the metal working fluid. As a result, the
filters will be clogged by crystallization of the additives
that were dissolved in the metal working fluid.
5.1
Oil container
During use the level of contents in the oil container must be
checked regularly. The frequency depends on the intensity of
use and will be a matter of experience.
•
Check the level of contents in the oil container on a regular
basis.
•
Empty if necessary. Refer to paragraph 6.2.
5.2
Filter replacement
The differential pressure gauges indicate the level of pollution of
each individual filter module. During use, these gauges must be
checked regularly. When the pressure reaches a certain value,
the filters must be replaced.
•
Check differential pressure gauges on a regular basis.
•
Replace filter(s) if necessary. Refer to paragraph 6.3.

MAINTENANCE
6.1
Periodic maintenance
The product has been designed to function without problems for
a long time with a minimum of maintenance. In order to
guarantee this, some simple, regular maintenance activities are
required which are described in this chapter.
The indicated maintenance intervals can vary depending on the
specific working and ambient conditions. Therefore it is

recommended to thoroughly inspect the complete product once
every year beside the indicated periodic maintenance. For this
purpose contact your supplier.
WARNING!
Always wear face mask and protective gloves during
maintenance.
The maintenance activities in the table below can be carried out
by the user.

6.2
Oil container
WARNING!
Always wear face mask and protective gloves during
emptying the oil container.
To empty the oil container, proceed as follows.
•
Remove the oil container and close it by the supplied cap.
•
Empty the container and place it back.
During emptying the container, prevent oil to drip out
of the filter unit on the floor.
6.2.1 OilPump (option)
Normally, the pump is operated automatically by a level switch.
If desired, the pump can be activated manually to drain the oil.
Controls
The control panel contains the following controls and indicators:

Yellow/green button/LED: AUTOMATIC
- Yellow LED on: being in automatic mode, the pump will
start automatically when the level switch in the container
is activated by the fluid level.
- Green LED on: pump is running (both in automatic and
manual mode).
B
Red button/LED: OFF
Sets the pump in stand-by mode; red LED is blinking every
15 seconds.
C
Green button/LED: MANUAL
Manual running at service. Pump runs as long as "I" is
pushed. Green LED is lit when pushing the button.
To activate the pump manually, proceed as follows.
•
Push green button marked "I" (C).
