5.10 LADDER FOR WAREHUSES MOD. SMT
STABILISING BAR ASSEMBLY
1) Take off one of the feet from the
stabilising bar by taking out the
screw (1).
2) Position the stabilising bar in the
slots on the holes (2).
3) Screw the cap onto the profile
using the previously-removed
screw (3).
4) Assemble the 2 aluminium plugs
onto the base of the element, so
that the stabilising bar is also

locked into place (4).
5) Open the ladder so that the
landing is flat. (5).
6) Secure the side bars with the
wheels. (5A).

1) Follow the instructions as for

2) Secure the ladder using the SICUR
STOP system (assembly diagram
on next page).
3) For ladders taller than 2.40 m,
apply the supplied ballast.
4) The ladder is now ready for use.

SICUR STOP: ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM
1) If not already assembled, install
the base carriage. Place the base
carriage under the ladder (fig. 1).
3) Position the handle between the carriage
and the steps (fig. 2).
4) Fit the side crossbeams between the ladder
and the handle (fig. 3).
5) Insert the bolts as

shown in the figure (fig. 4).

1) Undo the safety belts (1).
2) Open the step ladder so that the
steps are flat, taking care not to
place your hands in the joints.
3) Climb onto the ladder and close
the protection (2).
4) The ladder is now ready for use.
5) To close the ladder back up: lift the
protection, get down from the
ladder, close the ladder by lifting
the working platform (3), taking
care not to place your hands in the
joints.
6) Do up the safety belts
