b. Immerse the capillary in the liquid (2–
3 mm).
c. Allow the pipetting button to slowly
slide back.
d. Gently wipe capillary along vessel
wall.
e. Carefully wipe the outside of the cap-
illary with a lint-free cloth or swab.
Do not touch the opening; otherwise,
liquid will be sucked out.
a. Place capillary against vessel wall.
b. Press the pipetting button as far as it
will go.
