2.3 DESCRIPTION OF PROTECTION DEVICES

2.3.1 Thermal protection

This machine is protected by a temperature probe, which
prevents the machine from operating if the allowable tem-
peratures are exceeded. In these conditions the fan contin-
ues to operate and display screen A shows the message
Err. 74.
2.3.2 Motor-driven generators
Debbono avere una potenza uguale o superiore a 8KVA, e
non debbono erogare una tensione superiore a 260 V
3 INSTALLATION
Only skilled personnel should install the machine. All con-
nections must be carried out according to current regula-
tions, and in full observance of safety laws (CEI 26-36 E and
IEC/EN 60974-9).
3.1 ASSEMBLY
Make sure that the supply voltage matches the
voltage indicated on the specifications plate of the welding
machine.
When mounting a plug, make sure it has an adequate ca-
pacity, and that the yellow/green conductor of the power
supply cable is connected to the earth pin.
The capacity of the overload cutout switch or fuses installed

3.2 DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT

A - DISPLAY SCREEN
B - ENCODER KNOB
Various tasks are conducted with encoder knob B:
1) adjusting a parameter
Turn the encoder knob
2) selecting a parameter or activating a section.
Rapidly press and release the encoder knob.
3) Returning to main screen
Hold down for more than 0.7 seconds and release the knob
when the main screen is displayed.
C - POSITIVE OUTPUT TERMINAL (+)
D – NEGATIVE OUTPUT TERMINAL (-)
E – FITTING
(1/4 GAS) Used to connect TIG welding torch gas hose
F - 10-PIN CONNECTOR
