Cleaning up the surrounding areas
• The wall, door and floor must be cleaned.
• Install the washing machine on a hard and stable floor with floor drain, rather than
on a soft carpet or wooden floor.
• Do not put dirty laundry or anything else on the cover of the washing machine, as
it may adversely affect the normal operation.
Notice
Electrical connection
1. Do not use power strips or similar to connect the washing machine.
2. If the power cables are damaged, have them repaired by a professional.
3. After using the washing machine, remove the plug and turn off the tap.
4. Connect the washing machine to an earthed socket, to comply with the wiring
principles.
5. Install the washing machine in such a way that it can be easily connected to the
socket.
Contact the maintenance service and have the washing machine repaired by
•
professional personnel. Otherwise, damage and problems may occur to the
machine.
• Do not install the machine in a place where the temperature is below freezing.
The pipes will freeze and break. In addition, temperature below zero will damage
the programming controller.
• If the machine is moved to a sub-zero temperature environment, keep it at room
temperature for a few hours before operating it.
Earthing
A washing machine must be earthed so that, if a problem occurs, the device can
•
reduce the risk of electric shock. The appliance is equipped with a cord (including a
grounding conductor and a grounding plug). The earthed plug must be plugged
into an appropriate socket. If you wish to check whether the washer is properly
grounded, contact professional service personnel. If the plug cannot be plugged
into the outlet, do not change the outlet yourself.
If smoke or odour comes out of the machine, turn off the power and contact
•
professional maintenance personnel.
