Using the Sub Menu

Select the sub menu according to the "Basic menu
operation" (page 7) and display each sub menu.

SYNC sub menu
Selects the sync signal to be used.

SYNC MODE INT: The internal sync signal
L.L.: The line lock sync signal through the
AC power source
VD-S: Appears when the vertical sync
signal is input from the Sony camera
controller. You cannot change the setting.
V PHASE Adjusts the vertical phase when you select
L.L. in the SYNC MODE item.

FULL AUTO* ON: Adjusts the gain, iris and shutter
speed automatically.
OFF: You can adjust the gain, iris and
shutter speed manually.
AGC ON: Adjust the gain automatically.
OFF: You can adjust the gain manually.
GAIN When you select OFF in the AGC item,
you can adjust the gain manually. You
can set the gain to any of eight values: -3,
0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 dB.
AUTO IRIS ON: The auto iris mode functions. Even if
you select this mode, you can adjust the
iris by using the controller. However,
when you do another operation, the auto
iris mode is resumed.
OFF: You can adjust the iris manually by
using the controller.
SHUTTER You can set the shutter speed to any of 20
SPEED values:

1/4, 1/8, 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, 1/90, 1/100,
1/125, 1/180, 1/250, 1/350, 1/500,
1/725, 1/1000, 1/1500, 1/2000, 1/3000,
1/4000, 1/6000, 1/10000

1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/25, 1/50, 1/75, 1/100,
1/120, 1/150, 1/215, 1/300, 1/425, 1/600,
1/1000, 1/1250, 1/1750, 1/2500, 1/3500,

SSC-CR712/712P only: When 0 LUX
SHOT is set to ON, you cannot select
the high speed shutter mode (SSC-
CR712: 1/90 to 1/10000, SSC-CR712P:
1/75 to 1/10000).
ON: Sets to shoot the subject with
BLC
backlighting.
OFF: Sets in normal mode.
VIDEO LEVEL Adjusts the detecting luminance level.
You can set the level to any of 14 values.
