4. CONTROLS
WARNING! Do not turn the hood on while setting up is in progress.
• When the hood power supply is turned on for the first time, or every time the power is cut, set-up
of the ODOUR SENSOR starts automatically after 5 seconds.
Button E starts to flash once a second.
• Set-up is automatically set to Gas hobs and the procedure lasts 1 min.
• To change the settings and switch from Gas hob to Electric hob (and vice versa) simply press and
hold button E for 2 sec, the procedure lasts 15 min.
• Once the procedure has ended the ODOUR SENSOR is deactivated. To activate it and switch to
automatic mode, follow the instructions for button E.
WARNING! If button E flashes and the letter F appears on the display, this means that the ODOUR
SENSOR is not working. Check the wiring or replace the ODOUR SENSOR, and in any event
contact a specialist technician.
Button Function
Press briefly to turn the Motor on (speed one)/off. LEDs A + B + C light up and the speed

Intensive: Timed to run for 6 minutes, after which
it returns to Speed 3.
They are disabled by pressing A or B.
Display
set is shown on the Display.
Leds C + D flash 3 times.
When the procedure terminates, the
indication shown previously turns off:
F - 1 + (pause) + F - 1
Indicates that it is necessary to wash the
metal grease filters. The alarm is triggered
after the Hood has been operating for 100
working hours.
F - 2 + (pause) + F - 2
Indicates that it is necessary to change
the activated charcoal filters and wash
the metal grease filters at the same time.
The alarm is triggered after the Hood has
been operating for 200 working hours.
Shows the speed set.
All the Leds flash every half a second.
Shows the speed set 1 - 2 - 3 .
Shows " animation " on the display.
