Switch on the Vario 18. The pump will
start running.
Press and turn the vacuum regulator
to the right to set maximum vacuum.
a) Seal the end of the patient tubing
with your thumb.
b) Compare the maximum vacuum
according to the specification.
If the maximum vacuum is not
reached, see chapter «trouble-
shooting».
