RIGHT-LEFT ROTATION DIRECTION
Using the rotation direction switch (5) you can select the spindle rotation direction (fig. F).
Right - set the switch (5) in the far left position.
Left - set the switch (5) in the far right position.
* In some cases, the position of the switch in relation to the rotation direction may be different than described above. Refer to the
graphic signs located on the switch or the housing of the power tool.
A safe position is the central position of the rotation direction switch (5), which prevents accidental
activation of the power tool.
In this position, the driver/drill cannot be activated.
This position is intended for changing drills and bits.
Before you turn on the power tool, check if the rotation direction switch (5) is in the proper position.
Do not change the direction of rotation when the spindle of the driver/drill is turning.
CHANGE OF GEAR
The gear shift switch (4) (fig. G) enables increasing the rotational speed range.
Gear I: smaller rotational speed range, larger torque values.
Gear II: larger rotational speed, smaller torque values.
Set the gear shift switch in the appropriate position according to the type of work to be performed. If the
switch cannot be moved, turn the spindle slightly.
Never use the gear shift switch when the drill/driver is in operation. This could result in damage to
the power tool.
Drilling with the power tool at low rotational speeds may result in overheating of the motor. Make
regular breaks in your work or allow the device to work at maximum rotational speed without load
for about 3 minutes.
HOOK
The drill/driver has a practical hook (6) that can be used for example to hang the power tool on a fitter's
belt during work at heights.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
The power tool should be cleaned after each use.
Do not use water or other liquids to clean the power tool.
The driver/drill should be cleaned with a piece of dry cloth or with a jet of compressed air at low
pressure.
Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents as they may damage the plastic parts.
Clean the ventilation slots in the motor housing regularly so as to prevent overheating of the power
tool.
In the event of excessive sparking of the commutator, have the condition of the carbon brushes of the
motor checked by a qualified person.
Always store the drill/driver in a dry place inaccessible to children.
REPLACEMENT OF THE CHUCK
The chuck is screwed onto the thread of the spindle and also secured with a screw.
Set the rotation direction switch (5) in the central position.
Open the jaws of the chuck (1) and unscrew the fixing screw (left-hand thread) (fig. H).
