Installation
Installation of switches on mounting rail (35 mm,
acc. to DIN EN 60715). Connection between
ISM/S and ISS/S by pushing together while swit-
ched off.
The power supply of the switches should separa-
ted from other consumers, to avoid interference in
the network.
Seal the sockets you do not required with a dust
cover by pushing it to the rear until it locks in.
Connection
The electrical connections are made via screw ter-
minals. The terminal devices are connected to the
respective sockets via patch cables.. To loosen
the patch cable, first press the release knob abo-
ve the socket.
Start-up
Once the supply voltage has been applied the
switch system is ready for operation.

Power failure
During a power failure the devices are inoperable,
connected terminal devices no longer have
access to the network.

41.
The minimum distance of 10 mm between the
data/telecommunication lines and power current
lines must be adhered to.
Important notes
Installation and commissioning of the device may
only be carried out by trained electricians. The re-
levant standards, directives, regulations and in-
structions must be observed when planning and
implementing the electrical installation.
