SecuMotion

Intended use

The Truma SecuMotion gas-pres-
sure regulator is a device that
ensures uniform gas pressure
(30 mbar) with a permissible inlet
pressure range of 0.3 – 16 bar.
SecuMotion regulates and moni-
tors the consumption of liquid
gas. If the specified consumption
is exceeded or if the pressure at
the regulator outlet falls below
27 mbar (due to gas pipe break,
for example), the integrated gas
flow monitor will shut off the
flow of gas.
A high pressure hose with a
hose-break safety device is
essential for connecting the
SecuMotion gas pressure
regulator to the gas cylinder.
10
Truma offers hoses with com-
mon connection fittings (see
page 58 – 59) to enable use of
gas cylinders with various valve
connection sizes.
To avoid disturbances in the gas
system during winter operation,
the SecuMotion regulator may
be equipped with regulator heat-
ing (EisEx, part no. 53101-01).
This regulator may not
be used in confined
spaces (households, statics, or
on boats)!
The integrated overpressure
safety device complies with the
requirements for a commercial
safety device against impermis-
sible pressure increases (for ex-
ample in Germany according to
UVV BGV D 34).
Throughout Europe, a type-
tested liquefied-gas heating
system may be used while
driving (according to the EU
directive 2001/56/EC) if the sys-
tem includes a regulator with
an appropriately configured gas
installation.
Pressure regulating de-
vices and hoses must be
replaced with new ones no more
than 10 years after their date of
manufacture (every 8 years if
used commercially). This is the
responsibility of the operator (for
example in Germany according
to UVV BGV D 34).
