8.4 Maintenance activities
8.4.1 General
• Check the operation of the tool.
• Check the tool for damage and leaks. If the tool does not work properly and/or leaks, have it
repaired by an Holmatro Certified Technician.
8.4.2 Hydraulic couplers
• Check the couplers for damage. Have a Holmatro Certified Technician replace damaged couplers.
• Clean the coupler with luke warm water and a mild soap solution.
• Dry the couplers.
• Single-hose couplers. Refer to Fig. 11:
- Lubricate the end (1) of the coupler with hydraulic oil or inject WD-40.
- Lubricate the locking ring by injecting WD-40 into the space (2) between the back section and
the locking ring.
