ASSEMBLY
ASSEMBLING MOTOR TO MOBILE STAND
TOP
See Figures 5 - 8, page 23.
 Remove screw and flat washer from the motor shaft.
 Align the slots on the fan and motor shaft then slide the
fan onto the shaft.
 Secure fan to motor shaft using flat washer and screw.
 Turn mobile stand top upside down on a level surface as
shown.
 Place motor brace against motor support. Slide the washer
on the mounting rod then insert the motor mounting rod
through the holes. To secure, place the washer over the
mounting rod then push the hitch pin into the hole on the
end of the mounting rod.
 Run the power cord through the hole in the mobile stand
top.
 Using the cord wrap with screw, secure motor cord to
the mobile stand top leaving enough slack in the cord for
the motor to move.
ASSEMBLING MOBILE STAND
See Figures 9 - 11, page 24.
NOTE: The side panel with access door should be placed
on the same side as the motor fan.
 Assemble mobile stand using hex screws as shown in
figure 9.
 Turn mobile stand upside down and place on the mobile
stand top.
 Align the holes on the stand with the holes on the top.
Insert the hex bolts and lock nuts as shown. Finger
tighten only.
 Using a wrench, secure wheel assembly to mobile stand
with carriage bolts, lock washers, and hex nuts.
 Tighten all stand fasteners at this time.
 Turn assembly over onto leveling feet. Be sure the feet
sit flat on the ground. Loosen or tighten leveling feet as
needed.
 Push down with the toe of your foot to lock the mobile
stand.
WARNING:
Do not lift the saw without help. Hold it close to
your body. Keep your knees bent and lift with your
legs, not your back. Ignoring these precautions can
result in back injury.
MOUNTING BAND SAW TO MOBILE STAND
See Figure 12, page 24.
NOTE: This tool is heavy and requires two people to lift.
 Place the saw body on the mobile stand.
 Line up holes in saw body with holes in stand as shown.
Insert hex bolt through a washer, then through a hole in
the saw base and mobile stand top. Hand tighten.
 Repeat for remaining holes. Tighten all hardware with a
13 mm wrench.
 Connect the motor cord to the power cord.
INSTALLING THE V-BELT
See Figure 13, page 25.
 Install the belt adjustment screw in the mobile stand top.
 Visually align the inside edge of the motor pulley with the
inside edge of the large pulley. With a 3 mm hex wrench,
adjust the large pulleys by loosening both set screws
and moving the pulley until they line up with each other.
Tighten set screws.
 Slide V-belt into the opening on the mobile stand top.
 Slip the belt over the motor fan and into the pulley's
groove.
 Pull the belt up and slip over the top pulley on the saw
housing.
NOTE: If belt is too tight and won't fit over the top pulley,
remove the screws from the access door and tighten the
belt adjustment screw all the way in.
 Plug the motor's power cord into the saw's power cord.
INSTALLING THE PULLEY COVER
See Figure 14, page 25.
 Place pulley cover over pulley.
 Align holes in pulley cover with holes in saw housing and
mobile stand top.
 Fasten pulley cover to mobile stand top using lock wash-
ers and hex head screws, as shown.
MOUNTING THE DUST EXHAUST PORT
See Figure 15, page 25.
 Open lower blade guard cover and install dust exhaust
port pointing down. Thread Phillip screws from the inside
of the lower blade guard cover into the dust exhaust port.
 Close lower blade guard cover.
