when the connection is made. If the battery is low,
the light will glow amber. If the light does not operate,
check that the converter switch (A) is on.
Notes:
• Some vehicles require the ignition key to be turned
to the "accessories" position to provide power to the
vehicle cigarette lighter socket.
• If you connect your device to a powered converter, the
converter may power down. To resume power, turn the
converter off and on again.
• The power cord is not replaceable.
• If the battery OR car, boat or other vehicle are not in
good condition, there may not be enough reserve left in
the battery to start the vehicle after use.
• The Air10/ Lumis device with the HumidAir
attached uses considerably more power than the Air10/
Lumis device alone. Using the HumidAir humidifier will
drain the battery more quickly.
• If the converter cuts power to your device when
starting your car, boat or other vehicle, disconnect the
converter from the vehicle. Wait a few seconds and
then reconnect it.
• When the converter is not in use switch the converter
off or disconnect it from the vehicle cigarette lighter
socket to prevent battery discharge.
• If you need help, contact a ResMed representative,
ResMed Technical Services or see www.resmed.com.
Cleaning
If necessary, wipe the outside of the converter with a
clean, damp cloth.
WARNINGS
• Read instructions before use.
• Only use the converter when connecting to a 12V or
24V DC supply.
• Do not attempt to modify the converter. There are
no user-serviceable parts inside the converter.
CAUTIONS
• The Air10 DC/DC converter must only be used with
AirSense 10/ AirCurve 10/ Lumis devices to ensure
proper performance.
• The converter is intended for use on 12V or 24V
negative ground systems (where the negative
terminal of the battery is grounded). Using it on a
12V or 24V positive ground system may damage
the converter and the vehicle's electrical system. If
you are unsure whether you have a negative ground
system, consult the car, boat or other vehicle
manual.
