Assembly

i Follow the instructions enclosed in the anchor packaging.
4.6

Set up and anchoring the lift

i On-site provision of suitable auxiliary materi-
als (e.g. forklifts, crane, etc) are to be made
available for unloading the lift and for assem-
bly.
Before setting up the lift, the operating company
must ensure or make a sufficient foundation. For
this, a normal reinforced concrete floor with a va-
lue of a min. C20/25 is required.
The minimum foundation thickness (without screed
and floor tiles) is to be taken from the foundation
plan in this document.
In our plans, we inform of the minimum specifica-
tions for the foundation, however local conditions
(e.g. underground, floor quality, etc.) are outside
of our responsibility.
In special cases, the design of the installation lo-
cation must be individually specified by planning
architects and statics experts.
Open air foundations must be made to frost depth.
i The operating company of the lift is solely re-
sponsible for the set up location.
If the lift is to be assembled on an existing con-
crete floor, cement quality and strength are to be
checked beforehand. In case of doubt, make a
test bore and insert a heavy-duty anchor. Then
tighten the anchor to the manufacturer recom-
mended torque.
After inspection within the anchor zone of influ-
ence (see technical data sheet of the anchor
manufacturer), if there is visible damage (hairline
cracks, cracks or similar), or if the required torque
cannot be applied then the set up location is un-
suitable.

Also a level, set up surface must be ensured for the
lift so there is continuous contact between the lift
and the concrete floor.
The following preparation and work steps are to
be done:
• To achieve a greater degree of protection
against humidity from the workshop floor, a thin
PE foil should be placed between the workshop
floor and column (1) base plate (2) before an-
chors are placed. Also, the gap between the
base plate and workshop floor should be silicone
sprayed after anchoring.
• Place the drive-in rails at the intended set up lo-
cation each with two assembly stands. Ensure
precise separation of the drive-in rails (see data
sheet).
• Position each cross-beam at the front side of the
rails. Place the cables into proper position and
pull through the cross-beams. During this, check
the position of the cables to the cable rollers.
Cables may not cross each other.
• Fasten cross-beams onto the rails, connect elec-
trical plugs.
• Position lift columns (1) at the end of the cross-
beams.
• Pull the cable through the ends of the cross-be-
ams and upwards to fasten on the head plate of
the lift column.
• Measure the position of the lift columns and align
with a bubble level.
• Holes for floor anchoring are to be made through
the 4 holes in the base plates (2).
