DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
CAUTION:
Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing
any activities related to adjustment, repair or maintenance (e.g.
drill replacement).
• Use hearing protection measures during work. Exposure to
noise may cause hearing loss.
• Use the power tool with additional handles supplied with the
power tool. Loss of control may cause operator injury.
• Whenever tool can hit hidden electric wires during operation,
hold the power tool only by insulated handles. Contact with
electric wire may transfer voltage to metal parts of the power tool
and cause electric shock.
• Each time before connecting the power tool check the power
cord, in case of damage hand over to authorized workshop for
replacement.
• When operating the power tool hold it in both hands while
keeping stable body position.
• Avoid touching rotating parts. Touching of rotating power
tool parts, equipment in particular, may cause body injury.
• Wait until power tools comes to a complete stop before
putting it away. Working tool may jam and cause loss of control
over the power tool.
• In case of working tool jam immediately switch off the power tool,
also be prepared for high reaction torque.
• Fix processed material to stable surface and secure with
clamps or vice to eliminate shifting. This kind of workpiece
fixation is safer than holding the workpiece in hand.
• Power cord of the power tool always must be on the safe side,
where there is no danger of accidental damage by operating
power tool.
• Description of improper use: Do not throw the power tool, do

CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Impact drills are hand operated power tools with insulation class
II. Tools are driven by single-phase commutator motors with
rotational speed reduced with gear transmission. This type of
power tools is widely used for making holes in wood, wood-based
materials, metals, ceramics and plastics (no impact, rotation only
mode), and concrete, bricks and alike (with impact action). Range
of use covers repair and building works, woodworking and any
work from the scope of individual, amateur activities (tinkering).
Use the power tool in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions only.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL HANDLE
Due to personal safety issues it is recommended to always use the
additional handle (7). Possibility to rotate the additional handle
before it is clamped on the drill body allows to choose the most
comfortable position for specific working conditions.
• Loosen the wheel lock that locks collar of the additional handle (7)
by turning it counter clockwise.
• Slide the additional handle (7) collar over cylindrical section of the
drill body.
• Turn for the most comfortable position.
• Turn the wheel lock of the additional handle (7) clockwise to
clamp the handle.
DEPTH GAUGE INSTALLATION
Depth gauge rod (8) is used to limit the depth of drill penetration
in material.
• Loosen the wheel lock, which blocks collar of the additional handle (7).
• Slide depth gauge rod (8) into the hole in the additional handle collar.
• Set desired drilling depth.
• Fix by tightening the wheel lock of the additional handle (7) collar.
