Defrosting usually takes a few hours. Leaving the door open will help speed the
process. Also, pouring warm water (not boiling) on the ice/frost will help speed melting.
If you must use a scraper- please use caution - it is very easy to damage the freezer
compartment and void your warranty.
•
Place a container at the outlet of the recovery tank to collect the defrost water.
•
Watch that the water does not overflow.
•
Check the inside of the freezer.
•
Replace the cap on the inner wall.
•
Set the temperature to "7".
•
Leave the tray to cool for 3 hours.
•
Return the food to the freezer.
TIP: Occasional defrosting only takes a few hours. Leaving the doors open will speed up the
process. Similarly, putting hot (not boiling) water on the ice will help it melt.
CAUTION: Scraping the ice could damage the unit.
- Do not use pointed or sharp objects such as knives or forks to remove the frost.
- Never use hair dryers, electric heaters or other such electrical appliances for defrosting.
-It is normal for water beads or frost to appear on the freezer neck and door seals in humid
weather, which does not affect normal use. In this case, clean them in time with a dry cloth!
5. FOOD CONSERVATION
The storage of foodstuffs must comply with the regulatory conservation temperatures
established by the National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health
Safety (ANSES). Failure to comply with these storage temperatures involves risks of
poisoning and food waste.
Food preservation and storage.
Under the recommended setting, the best shelf life is no more than 3 days in the refrigerator
and 3 months in the freezer (4 stars); The better storage time may reduce other parameters.
