cable distance to the inlet socket.
The manual shows an example of
vertical assembly.
Step 2: Attach rail to the balcony
Decide on a suitable position for the
D
clamps.
Use the clamps (4) to bend a
metal sheet (5) carefully around a
suitable strut. Do not fold or kink
the sheet (5). Attach the clamp units
(4) to the banister using the screws
in each opposing claw. A large
distance between the two clamps is
preferrable. Do not tighten yet.
Screw the rail guide (7) to the clamp
units. The open side of the rail guide
must face outside, away from the
clamp units. Do not tighten yet.
Carefully adjust the position of the
clamps to ensure the rail is horizontal.
Now, tighten the screws holing the
clamp units to the balcony struts, then
tighten the screws holding the rail
guide.
Step 3: Attach hooks and inverter to
solar panel
Unpack the carton box. To prevent
E
damage to the solar panel, place it on
a soft matt. Do not step on the solar
panel. Verify that the contents match
the scope of delivery.
Attach the hooks to the solar panel,
F
using two short screws (3), and to two
nuts (3).
Use screw kit (11) to install the
G
inverter on the solar panel as shown
in figure F.
24
Alternatively, use screw kit (12) to
attach the inverter to the rail (7) as
shown in figure G.
Step 4: Place the panel
With the help af a second person,
H
hang the solar panel to the hand rail
by the mounting hooks.
Ensure the inverter's connectors are
I
accessible. If necessary, adjust the
position of the inverter, rail, or solar
panel.
Once satisfied,use the solar panel
clamps to attach the solar panel to the
rail (7)
Use the long bolt (3) to secure the
solar panel to the hand rail. Do not
overtighten!
Step 5: Electrical connections
Remove the protective caps from
J
one DC input connector pair, guide
the cables through the bannister to
ensure there is no tension on the
cables. Connect the solar panel to
the inverter. Fully insert the plugs to
ensure the connection is permanently
watertight.
Remove the protective cap from one
AC connector. Connect the matching
plug of the AC cable to the inverter.
Ensure the plug is locked in position
to ensure it is permanently watertight.
Guide the AC cable towards the inlet
plug, ensuring there is no strain, no
sharp edges, and no other damage
hazard for the cable. Insert the plug
into the inlet socket. Ensure the plug
is locked in position to ensure it is
