M18™ 500GB Control Hub
12. A progress indicator will appear showing the progress of the update.
13. A confirmation message will appear when the update is complete. Select OK to reboot
the system.
14. Go to the About option in the Settings menu to check that the firmware revision
numbers have been updated.
3.5.3 M18™ 500GB Control Hub System Update - Over the Air
This section covers updating the M18™ 500GB Control Hub using the Pipeline Inspection
App. This is an over-the-air firmware update and does not require using a USB thumb
drive. If an M18™ Wireless Monitor is connected to the hub when an over-the-air update
is run both the hub and monitor will be updated if needed.
Firmware updates are periodically released to introduce new features and optimizations.
Before updating a system, go to the About section of the Settings menu and make a note
of the current firmware revisions in the system.
When new firmware is released it is automatically added to the App. When the App
connects to the hub it compares its firmware version to the latest and will ask to be
installed.
1. After the connection to the hub has been established the update message will appear.
Click Install to start the installation process.
