To do before you operate the product
1. Read the operator's manual carefully and make sure
that you understand the instructions.
2. Read the operator's manual for the dust collector
carefully and make sure that you understand the
instructions.
3. Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 7 .
4. Do daily maintenance. Refer to
schedule on page 17 .
5. Make sure that the product is assembled correctly
and is not damaged.
6. Make sure that only approved persons are in the
work area.
7. Put the product on the work area. Make sure that the
transportation of the product to and in the work area
is done safely and correctly. Refer to
storage and disposal on page 22 .
8. Connect a dust collector to the product. Refer to
connect a dust collector on page 12 .
9. Adjust the handle to an applicable operation position.

10. Make sure that the drive wheels are engaged. Refer

11. Install a blade. Refer to
page 19 .

12. Make sure that the blade is sharp. If it is necessary,
replace or sharpen the blade. Refer to

13. If you use a self-scoring blade, make sure that the
angles at the ends of the blade (A) are sharp.

14. Make sure that the start/stop and function selection
switch is in the "0" position.

1. Loosen the handle adjustment knob.
2. Move the handle to an applicable position.
