Safety instructions
WARNING
Uncontrolled movement of compressed
air hose when quick-action coupling is
opened!
Hold the compressed air hose tightly!
WARNING
Burn hazard on the motor, unit, check
valve, connecting hose/pressure pipe
and from hot oil!
Wear safety gloves!

Do not use in potentially explosive areas.
Do not suck in any combustible, corrosive
or poisonous gases!
Do not exceed the max. permitted final
compression pressure.
WARNING
Hearing damage from noise during op-

Damage to the connexion cable!
Protect it from sharp edges, oil and heat!
Grasp the plug and unplug it from the
power outlet!
• Be calm and focused and ensure proper
operation.

and being trained in use of the devices to
prevent harm to your health, property
damage,
financial
harm or risk of accident.
• Repairs may be carried out only by
Schneider Druckluft GmbH or its approved
service partners.
• Observe the Instruction Manual for ves-

• Prohibited: Manipulation, inappropriate
use, temporary repairs, use of other ener-
gy sources, removal or use of damaged
safety equipment, operating a leaking or
malfunctioning system, use of non-original
spare parts, exceeding the permitted
working pressure specified, working with-
out protective clothing, maintaining / re-
pairing or leaving a pressurised machine
unattended, using other / unsuitable lubri-
cants, smoking, naked flames, removing
stickers.

Commissioning
Observe the safety instructions!
2.4.1 Conditions at the installa-
tion location
• Rooms: as dust-free as possible, dry, well
ventilated.
• Surface: level.
• Keep heat dissipating devices and lines
away from the compressor.
• When installing the vessel, make sure that
all sides can be viewed clearly and internal
checks made unhindered.
• Factory sign clearly visible.
2.4.2 Before first use
1. Carry out a visual inspection.
2. Check the electrical connection.
3. Check the oil level (see Chap. 2.6.4).
4. Prior to installation, the operating com-
pany must have the compressor equip-
ment checked at an approved test
centre.
5. Before starting the compressor, read and
make a mental note of the most impor-
tant information in the chapter "Safety
instructions".
2.4.3 Compressors with solenoid
valve
1. Screw on the silencer by hand.
2. Plug the solenoid valve connector into
the solenoid valve.
2.4.4 Electrical connection
• The mains voltage must match that speci-
fied on the rating plate.
• Electric protection according to technical
data.
• Observe VDE regulations 0100 and 0105.
