The transport cover should be removed.
1 insert the video camera
recorder along the rail
until it clicks.
3 Press up the STANDBY switch of the video
camera recorder.
2 Push the lock lever in the direction of the
arrow.
4 Viewing the monitor, make sure that the video camera recorder functions.

¢ Turn the power on to see if a picture appears on the

monitor.
¢ Pull the AUTO/MAN lever to select manual or auto
focusing.
(The focus indication will appear on the monitor in the
manual mode.)
© Try zooming by the POWER ZOOM lever.
© Try forwarding/rewinding the tape by the EDITSEARCH
lever.
After trial recording, pull the REC START/STOP lever
again to enter standby mode. Then turn the
EDITSEARCH lever to the right (forward) or the left
(rewind).
