discharge time of the capacitors is up to 5 minutes.

Only appropriately qualified electricians are permitted to remove the RS485 cover plate.
> Before opening the cover plate: Disconnect the AC and DC sides and wait at least 5 minutes.
> Don't open the product's cover. All warranty claims will be void if the product's cover open.
Smart meter connection diagram:
The device has been installed on the wall mounting bracket and smart meter is installed in the electrical cabinet.
1. Fit suitable wire sleeves in accordance with DIN 46228-4 to the wires of the required cable and crimp.

Attention: Loss of your warranty claim, by opening the front housing cover.
2. Remove cover plate from bottom of housing and lay out contents of RS485 communication kit.
3. Remove the sealing plug and lead the stripped cable through the swivel nut, sealing sleeve and housing.
4. Move the cable through the magnetic ring with three turns, connect wires as assigned (A/B). To do so, use
screwdriver press the two buttons with orange color into the terminal, insert the cable into the holes to the end,
then release the screwdriver (
5. Insert the smart meter terminal to the socket and secure the ferret ring without contact to other parts.
6. Secure the housing using screwdriver (type: PH2, torque: 1.6 Nm) and tighten the swivel nut firmly (torque:3.0-
3.5Nm).
7. Fit wire sleeve to the other end of the cable and connect to the contacts of the Smart-Meter using screwdriver
(type: PH0, torque: 0.7Nm).
