Advice
The part „Roof rails", ordering No. Škoda LAS 620 001, 620 004, is intended solely for pro-
fessional mounting by the contract partners of Škoda Auto. The mounting requires the
employment of special tooling and Workshop Manuals; because of that, the part „Roof rails"
must not be sold to final users in a not mounted state.

Mounting procedure

Before proceeding to the mounting, cover the lateral sides of the vehicle with protective
covers (because of the filings falling off during the drilling and grinding operations).
During the drilling and grinding operations, suck off chips carefully, in order to avoid
any damage to the varnish of the vehicle body, as well as chips stuck in threads of the
nuts prepared for fastening the roof rail!
Mount the roof rail in the same way on both the sides of the vehicle.
