the upper snap fasteners (3), then push lower part of earcup into the helmet
to release the lower holding tab (4), and slide it off the strap (5). Repeat for
the other side.
To take off the fabric covering for washing, peel the covering off over the rear edge
of the cheek pad assembly until all the fabric is on the face side surface. Then draw
5
the covering through the opening by grasping the rectangular collar and pulling.
NOTE: The earcup is equipped with a 5mm surface foam layer. The layer is
removable to offer a bit more room if desired. Gently remove it from the pad.
Once removed this foam layer will not reattach securely.
To wash fabric coverings, put them into lukewarm water with a small amount of
laundry soap or your own shampoo and wash gently by hand. Rinse well with fresh

cover is turned right side out with the EMERGENCY tab drawn through the slot, making sure it is not
twisted. Next, stretch the cover over the pad and adjust it to lie smoothly. Then, push the rectangular
9
collar through the pad assembly, making sure it is not twisted, and adjust into the final position.
To replace (note that the L & R embossed on the cup bases indicate Left and Right inside
of the helmet when the helmet is worn), ensuring that the chinstrap is in the correct
position, slip earcup onto chinstrap (6). Push the lower holding tab into its receptacle (7),
then place upper snap fastener over its receptacle and push it home by pressing around
the marked spot until a snap is heard (8). Replace the speaker base (9).

in the chinstrap and it is not trapped behind the earcup (10). Repeat for the
other side.
