Characteristics and range for use :
• Voltage detection: 12V < U < 690V between
phases (600V in relation to earth)
• Frequency: DC, 50...60Hz ±5%
• High impedance does not switch the
differential circuit breaker 30mA.
• Max. peak current at 690V : Is < 3.5mA.
• Response time: instantaneous
5. Continuity test
Always perform an autotest before and after
using the detector.
Never use the detector if the autotest is
incorrect.
Before performing a continuity test, make
sure that the power supply to the circuit to be
tested has been switched off.
Place the two test probes on the circuit to
be tested. If one LED at least comes on, stop
the test: the circuit is live.
Press the autotest button.
The green and orange LEDs and the 50V LED
light up : there is continuity.
Accidental presence of a voltage on the
circuit to be tested.
If the instrument detects the presence of a
voltage and when voltage is greater than 50V
AC, the 127V LED lights up.
