9 Troubleshooting
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device.
Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:
9.1 Safety notices
ATTENTION
Repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualifi ed person who are trai-
ned by the manufacturer.
Repairs performed by untrained persons may result in considerable hazards for the
user and damage the machine.
9.2 Troubleshooting table
The table below will help you to locate and solve small problems.
Error
The selected program
will not start.
The turntable turns
jerkily.
Food is not suffi ciently
defrosted, warmed up or
cooked after preset time
has elapsed.
The device functions but
the cooking chamber
lighting does not work.
Abnormal noises can be
heard during operation
of microwave.

Clean the device before you send it to customer service.

Cooking vessel too large
Incorrectly selected time or

Defective cooking chamber

Food is covered with alumi-

Action
Close device door
Plug in mains plug!
Activate fuse
Remove dirt
Use diff erent cooking
vessel
Re-set time and power
level. Repeat process
Have Service dept repair
