SERVICE POINTS

Motor inspection
1. Inspect:
Commutator
Dirt → Clean with 600 grit sandpaper.
2. Inspect:
Segment undercut
Obstruction → Clean.
NOTE:
Remove all metal particles with com-
pressed air.
3. Measure:
Armature coil continuity
Out of specification → Replace.

Commutator segments
Segment - laminations
Segment - shaft
