Changing the battery
NOTE
Electrical components may be destroyed by static discharge or moisture
Avoid contact with electrical components or conductors. If contact is unavoidable, first dis-

charge any static charging from your body, for instance by briefly earthing yourself on a bare
heating pipe.
Protect the housing interior from dirt and moisture.

Storage/winter protection
If temperatures drop to freezing, remove the Water Trio/Quintet. Thoroughly clean and check
the components for damage. Store the pump submersed in a water-filled container and pro-
tected against freezing. Do not immerse the plugs.
