Before using for the first time
∙ Clean the grill plates with a damp, lint-
free cloth and wipe dry afterwards.
∙ Close the unit.
∙ Plug the power cord into the power
outlet.
∙ Press the on/off switch to switch on
the appliance. The fan starts to run.

∙ Press and hold the OK button for about
3 seconds to interrupt the selected
functions or cooking at any time.
∙ Always ensure that the grease drip tray
is in place and empty it regularly during
operation.
∙ The non-stick-coated grill plates only
need to be lightly greased at the
beginning.
∙ Never use pointed or sharp objects
to remove food from the grill plates to
avoid damaging their non-stick coating.
∙ After cooking, unplug the contact grill
from the power outlet and let it cool
down with the grill surfaces closed.
