Applying Torque (Fig. A, D—F)
WARNING : Familiarise yourself with operation and
feedback before use.
1. Ensure the socket is firmly and securely connected to the
fastener and wrench.
2. Hold the wrench handle

NOTE: Do not use accessories or an extension.
3. Using smooth effort, pull the wrench at 90° to the handle.
4. Ensure a smooth, gradual increase of force toward the target
value and status lights.
5. The wrench will produce an audible clicking when it reaches
100% of the target value.
6. Stop tightening.
MAINTENANCE
This tool has been designed to operate over a long period of
time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory
operation depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
1. Clean your torque wrench with a dry cloth. Do not use any
solvent or detergent.
2. Never dismantle.
3-Point Calibration Certificate:
Torque testing and adjustment at the minimum, 60% and 100%
of the torque wrench capacity, within the standard's tolerances.

Checking Tool Accuracy and
Document Updates:
The FACOM metrological laboratory will issue calibration
certificates upon request.
Calibration
An annual recalibration or after 5000 uses, is necessary to
maintain accuracy. Please contact your local dealer to schedule.
We advise you to have your torque wrench checked regularly on
a test rig or by the FACOM metrological laboratory (about once a
year, or more often for intensive use or if dropped).
