Notice
Many events in the operating environment may af-
fect the tightening process and shall require a vali-
dation of results. In compliance with applicable
standards and/or regulations, we hereby require
you to check the installed torque after any event
that can influence the tightening result. Examples
of such events include but are not limited to:
• initial installation of the tooling system
• change of part batch, bolt, screw batch, tool,
software, configuration or environment
• change of air- or electrical connections
• change in line ergonomics, process, quality
procedures or practices
• changing of operator
• any other change that influences the result of
the tightening process
The check should:
• Ensure that the joint conditions have not
changed due to events of influence.
• Be done after initial installation, maintenance
or repair of the equipment.
• Occur at least once per shift or at another suit-
able frequency.

Warning / Important
• Make sure you are familiar with the operator's
instructions before you use this tool.
• The tool together with any attachements or ac-
cessories, must never be used for anything
other than the designed purpose.
• All locally legislated safety rules regarding in-
stallation, operation and maintenance shall be
respected at all times.
• This product is only intended for industrial use
and shall only be operated indoor in dry rooms.
This product must not be used in explosive at-
mospheres.
• Only use power sockets.
• Keep hands, long hair and other objects away
from the rotating socket.

• Do not use gloves.
• When using a suspension yoke, check that it is
in good condition and correctly fastened.
• Be prepared of the reaction force which will
occur when the tool is used.
• Make sure that the tool is in good working or-
der and that the controller is correctly pro-
grammed before use to avoid unexpected be-
haviour from the tool which may result in oper-
ator injury.
• ETD and ETP nutrunners are used together
with a torque reaction bar. Please be aware of
the rotational direction of the spindle before
starting the tool, the reaction force may work in
an unexpected direction with risk of crush in-
juries.
• Never put your hand near or close to the reac-
tion bar while the tool is being used.
• The tool with its drive/controller box is de-
signed to operate at any setting within its
torque range at a primary voltage of nominal
230V/ 50Hz single phase (115V/ 60Hz op-
tional). Refer to the manual for Your POWER
FOCUS or Drive unit.
• Check function of the earth fault protector and
ground loop continuity on regular basis accord-
ing instructions in the drive/ controller ASL.
• Always keep the POWER FOCUS/drive unit
locked.
• Always make sure that the POWER FOCUS/
drive is switched off before connecting/discon-
necting the tool cable.
• Always disconnect the tool from the POWER
FOCUS/ drive unit before making any adjust-
ments on or inside the Tool.
• Refer installation and servicing to qualified
personnel only.
