By pressing the KARAOKE
VOCAL
FADER
button, the vocals on regular CDs and cassette
tapes are reduced throughout playback or when
there is audio input from a microphone, turning
them into karaoke music.

Types of vocal fading
There are two vocal fader modes.
microphone input
Displays with KARAOKE VOCAL FADER on
While the KARAOKE
VOCAL
FADER
is on,
musical notes are displayed in the display for
5 seconds every 25 seconds.
Notes on karaoke vocal fading
e This function does not work correctly with the
following CDs or tapes.
¢ Those with a monaural recording
« Those recorded with strong echoes
e Those with the vocal part recorded on the
right or left side of the sound width
© While the KARAOKE VOCAL FADER function
is turned on, the stereo sound source is heard
as monaural.
Notes on microphone mixing
e If a microphone is set too near a speaker,
feedback may be produced. in this case, keep
the microphone
away from the speaker, or
decrease the sound level.
¢ For microphone mixing. a uni-directional type
of microphone is recommended to prevent
feedback.
e Donot set the microphone volume too high by
observing the spectrum analytical display.
Presionando el botén KARAOKE VOCAL FADER,
la parte vocal de los discos compactos y casetes
normales podra reducirse durante la reproduccion

derecha 0 izquierda de la pista de sonido
e Mientras la funcion de reduccién vocal para
karaoke (KARAOKE
VOCAL
FADER)
esté
activada, la fuente de sonido estéreo se oiga en
forma monoaural.
Notas sobre la mezcla con microfono
e Si ef micrdéfono esta demasiado cerda de un
altavoz, es posible que se produzca aullido. En
este caso, aleje el microfono del altavoz o
disminuya el nivel det sonido.
e Para la mezcla con micréfono, se recomienda
empiear un microfono unidireccional a fin de
evitar el aullido.
e Noajuste el nivel del micréfono demasiado alto
observando el visualizador del analiticas de
espectro.
