The eyepiece of a riflescope provides an adjustment to ensure that the
reticle (cross hairs) appears sharp for the user's eyesight. All Bushnell
riflescopes are focused at the factory for 20/20 or corrected vision. If
the reticle already appears sharp as you look through the scope, no
adjustment is needed.
If the reticle appears unsharp, adjust the Fast Focus eyepiece as follows:
1. First, look at a distant object for several seconds without using your
scope.
2. Then, shift your vision quickly, looking though the scope at a plain
background (white wall, etc).
3. Turn the eyepiece clockwise or counter clockwise until the reticle
appears sharp for your vision. The Elite scope's Fast Focus eyepiece
does not need to be "unlocked" prior to adjustment.
WARNING: Never look at the sun through the riflescope (or any other optical instrument). It
may permanently damage your eye.
