3 . Technical characteristics
Radiatori Elettrici Cordivari versione con termostato ambiente digitale:
• Class I Insulation
• Protection: IP 44
• Internal operating thermostat set to 90 - 100 °C
• Safety overheating fuses set to 152°C
These radiators are factory primed with a clearly specified amount of special
fluid ensuring heat transmission . If any of this fluids leaks out, the radiator
must be restored to optimum working conditions by the manufacturer, a
person delegated by the manufacturer or a person with suitable qualifications,
to ensure that proper operating and safety conditions are restored .

In case of power cut, backup
- After short power cuts (less than 3 hrs), the device will start up again
without any outside input being required – you do not have to do anything .
All the settings and the correct time will be saved .
When the main power supply returns, your device will again operate using
correct time and the settings that were programmed before the power cut
(as regards desired temperature, operating mode, programmes, etc .) . It
will start up again in the mode which was active before the power outage
- For longer power supply cuts (more than 3 hrs), check the timer setting .
All the other settings are automatically and permanently saved .
4 . Notice for the end user
To clean coloured radiators, use only non-abrasive cloth dampened with
water . To clean the stainless steel radiators you can use a non-abrasive
cloth dampened with water and methyl alcohol diluted to 50% . Do not use
detergents or aggressive substances . Avoid any acidic or basic solutions,
industrial chemicals or other substances, corrosive or abrasive materials
(bleach, ammonia, soda . . .) Do not use abrasive sponges or cloths .
5 . Notice for the installer
The product purchased is subject to the general rules of warranty so as
written in the official Cordivari Catalogue in force . The warranty starts
from the date of delivery and is void if the indication of the production
lot is modified and / or removed . The guarantee shall be effective after
examination of the defects and their relevant causes . The material
to replace or repair must be delivered at the retailer warehouse . The
obligation to provide the guarantee is subject to the conditions and
requirements set out below . The radiator has not been damaged during
shipping, handling or installation and any repairs and / or modifications
has been carried out by a third party, if not expressively authorized by
the manufacturer . The material has been stored in good condition and
protected from the weather before being installed . The installation of this
product should be performed by qualified personnel and in accordance
with these instructions and all safety equipment rules both national and
local . Do not place the radiators in rooms with the presence of chlorine
vapours or corrosive fumes such as swimming pools saunas, spa tubs
6 . Instructions for installation in Bathroom
The national rules on installing electrical equipment in the bathroom
must be scrupulously respected . The electric radiators must be always
installed outside zone 1 and 2 . The electric switch and control elements
most be mandatory located in zone 3, in order that no electrical control
center is accessible to anyone using the shower or bath .

Install the radiator in such a way that the minimum distance between
the floor and the thermostat is 250mm and make sure that there are no
obstacles within a minimum distance of 100mm from the appliance .
