Product usage
Before first use
•
Clean the unit before first use ( CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE).
•
Place the unit on a stable, flat and non-slip surface.
•
The unit may vibrate and move slightly across the worktop during use. Do not place the
unit near the edge of a worktop as it could accidentally fall.
•
Do not place the unit on a hot surface such as a stove.
•
Fully unwind the power cable before use.
WARNING!
•
Before assembling the unit, changing the accessories or removing the mixing
bowl/blender jug, always set the speed control knob to 0 (Off) and unplug the
power cable from the wall socket. Failure to do so could result in serious injury.
•
Do not touch moving parts when the unit is in use. There is a risk of injury.
•
Only use one function at a time. Should more than one function be enabled
at the same time, the motor may overheat.
•
Only ever use the unit continuously for a maximum of 5 minutes. If you would
like to use the unit for a longer period of time, let the unit cool down for
10 minutes between the two cycles. This operation can be repeated for a
maximum of 20 cycles.
Using the mixer function
NOTE: Never operate the food processor while it is empty, in order to avoid
overheating the motor.
To adjust the position of the arm, push in the arm-locking button and tilt the adjustable
arm back as far as it will go. When in position, release the arm-locking button.
Place the bowl on the base. Turn the bowl clockwise towards the "lock"
it clicks into place. Place the ingredients in the bowl. (To remove the bowl at any time,
turn it anticlockwise towards the "unlock symbol"
NOTE: Do not overfill the bowl.
