Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
• To prevent the risk of electrocution, turn off and unplug
the unit from the mains socket before cleaning.
• Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning it.
• Take care when cleaning sharp blades/knives.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the unit,
its power cable or plug in water or any other liquid, as
they contain electrical components. Do not rinse them
under the tap.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning
products, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads
to clean the unit.
Disassemble the food processor and clean it as follows:

Cleaning method
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a small amount of
washing-up liquid. Make sure that no liquid enters the unit.
Dry it thoroughly.
Soak in soapy water (washing-up liquid) to soften any food
residue.
Wash thoroughly.
Rinse off with clean water.
Once clean, dry all parts well.
Please note:
• Wash the bowl and whisk in the dishwasher.
• All other parts should be hand-washed and are not
dishwasher-safe.
• If the blender jug blade is difficult to clean, pour hot soapy
water into the blender jug. Secure the lid and turn on the
unit at speed setting 1 for a few seconds.
• Once clean, lightly coat them with vegetable oil in order to
protect them.
