Remove tool or clamping pin (see 2.1.2).

Loosen and remove the allen screw from the small ring
with the allen key (1). Block the collet chuck shaft with the
locking pin (2). Turn the collet chuck shaft using the collet
chuck key (3) until the pin locks into place. Completely
unscrew the collet chuck and remove it (anti-clockwise
motion). Clean the collet chuck and the clamping cone
before they are reassembled. Reassemble by following
these instructions in reverse, ensure that you tighten the
collet chuck without using excessive force.
Never tighten chuck collets without a tool or
clamping pin.

To achieve an optimum grinding result, move grinding
tool uniformly back and forth with light pressure. Exces-
sive pressure lessens the working capability of the hand
tool, as well as the life of the grinding tool.
