OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - Do not leave the appliance
unattended when in use so that you can
intervene quickly in the event of danger.
Before first use
Remove all packaging material.
Remove all stickers or labels from the
appliance, except the appliance's rating
plate.
Wash the drawer and basket with hot water,
a little dish detergent and a non-abrasive
sponge.
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a
moist cloth.
When using the fryer for the first time, you
may notice smoke or a slight odor during
the first minutes of use. This is normal.
Make sure the area is well ventilated.
Overheating protection
When the temperature exceeds 300 °C, the
fryer will stop working and the panel will
display "E4". The fan will continue to work
for at least 30 seconds more to cool down
the fryer.
Use
Place the appliance on a stable, level and
heat-resistant surface.
Leave at least 50 mm of space around the
appliance.
Keep oven mitts (or a tea towel) handy, use
heat-resistant tongs and a heat-resistant
mat or dinner plate to rest the drawer on.
To remove the drawer from the body, hold
the upper part of the body.
Grasp the drawer handle and slide the
drawer out of the body.
Place the drawer on a heat-resistant mat.
To remove the basket from the drawer,
use the orifices on the tray to remove it by
hand; wait until the basket and drawer cool
down.
Slide the drawer into the fryer until it fits
into place. The appliance will not work
unless the drawer is properly inserted.
Do not fill the basket base with oil or any
other liquid.
Never place the basket in the drawer
without the rubber supports, as this could
damage the non-stick coating of the parts.
NOTE: when a program ends, if the interior
temperature of the fryer is over 100°C, the
fan will continue working for at least 20
seconds.
