REFRIGERANT AND WATER PIPING
• Insulate the unions and flare-nuts at the piping connection part
completely.
• Insulate the liquid piping completely to avoid a decrease of
performance; if not, it will cause sweating on the surface of the
pipe.
• Charge refrigerant correctly. Overcharging or insufficient
charging could cause a compressor failure.

Water Control
It is necessary to analyse the quality of water by checking pH, electrical conductivity, ammonia ion content, sulphur
content, and others. The following is the recommended standard water quality.
Standard Quality pH (25 °C)
Electrical Conductivity (mS/m) (25 °C)
{µS/cm} (25 °C)
(2)
Chlorine Ion (mg CI¯/I)
Sulphur Acid Ion (mg SO
The Amount of Acid Consumption (pH 4.8)
(mg CaCO
/I)
3
Total Hardness (mg CaCO
Calcium Hardness (mg CaCO
Silica L (mg SIO
/I)
2
Reference Quality Total Iron (mg Fe/I)
Total Copper (mg Cu/I)
Sulphur Ion (mg S
Ammonium Ion (mg NH
Remaining Chlorine (mg CI/I)
Floating Carbonic Acid (mg CO

• Check for refrigerant leakage in detail. If a large refrigerant
leakage occurred, it would cause difficulty with breathing or
harmful gases would occur if a fire were being used in the room.
• If the flare nut is tightened too hard, the flare nut may crack after
a long time and cause refrigerant leakage.
