Modems for INGECON are factory-set with APN parameters (APNSERV, APNUN and APNPW) necessary for M2M
communications with the main mobile phone operators in Spain, France and Italy. In addition, it is possible to
establish customised APN parameters, which will enable you to work with new operators or VPN network services.
In cases where customised APN parameters are configured, previous serial line connection with the
modem is required. After this, remote access to the modem will be permitted.

Configuration of alarms and reports
The modem can send warnings via SMS (short text messages via mobile phone) to four mobile phones. For each of
the destination telephone numbers the type of alarm that will be communicated and the frequency of the reports
can be selected.
• Type of alarms: these can be enabled to send an SMS when inverter alarms or tracker alarms are
detected, when the number of network connections is exceeded and even when communication error alarms are
detected.
• The reports are generated daily, weekly or monthly. They contain the energy production data for that
period.

The modem consults the status of the other inverters in the plant with the time interval indicated
in this field (in minutes).
