5. Connection of the remote PC
Ingeteam provides the software tool INGECON SUN Manager for monitoring and configuring the inverters in the
installation, available on the Ingeteam website.
Follow the steps indicated below to connect the remote PC.
5.1. Communication via GPRS
1.
Create a new plant with the required name on the left-hand panel of the INGECON SUN Manager
software.
2.
In the right-hand communication configuration panel, select GPRS as the means of communication.
3.
Enter the serial number and password. These are supplied by Ingeteam.
4.
Click on Connect.
5.
From the left-hand panel, add the corresponding device and assign it the modbus node configured in the
unit (see "2.1.3. Identifying inverters").
5.2. Communication via GSM
1.
Create a new plant with the required name on the left-hand panel of the INGECON SUN Manager
software.
2.
In the right-hand communication configuration panel, select GSM as the means of communication.
3.
Enter the telephone number.
4.
Click on Connect.
5.
From the left-hand panel, add the corresponding device and assign it the modbus node configured in the
unit (see "2.1.3. Identifying inverters").
