• Always remove external equipment from the product litter when you zero the scale or weigh a patient.
• Always zero the scale at least once a week to maintain scale accuracy.
To weigh a patient:
1. Press and release the W W e e i i g g h h / / O O n n button (E) to turn the scale on ( Scale control panel option (page 14)).
N N o o t t e e - - Three dashes will flash on the display for 10 seconds followed by a weight reading.
2. Press and hold the Z Z e e r r o o button (C) for two seconds ( Scale control panel option (page 14)).
N N o o t t e e - - Patient must be moved from product to zero the scale.
3. Release the Z Z e e r r o o button and wait for a zero weight to display.
4. Place the patient on the product and press and release the W W e e i i g g h h / / O O n n button. Three dashes will flash on the display for
10 seconds followed by the patient weight.
N N o o t t e e - - The
icon may display when using the scale and indicates the product is unstable and unable to weigh.
Stabilize the product and repeat the process.
