Before commissioning
WARNING
Danger of injury!
Remove the battery from the power tool before carrying
out any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool
change, etc.) and when transporting and storing it.
There is a risk of injury if the on/off switch is operated
unintentionally.
8.1
Fitting/replacing the saw blade
(Fig. 3)
WARNING
Tool attachments may be sharp and become hot during
use. Always wear protective gloves when handling the
tool attachments.
CAUTION
Keep your hands away from the tool attachment when
the product is in operation.
ATTENTION
The saw blade is not pre-mounted!
1. Set 0 mm on the cutting depth scale (27) and lock the
lever (25), see Setting the cutting depth (Fig. 6).9.3
8.1.1
Mounting the saw blade
CAUTION
The marked running direction on the saw blade must
match the marked running direction on the fixed protec-
tive cover.
WARNING
Make sure that the saw blade is suitable for the speed
of the tool.
1. Swing back the protective cover (17) with the retract-
ing lever (19) and place the saw blade (13) from be-
low into the fixed protective cover (20) and onto the
spindle.
2. Place the flange (14) on the saw blade (13).
3. Press the spindle lock (24) and fix the saw blade (13)
with the washer (15) and the Allen screw (16). Use the
Allen key (26).
8.1.2
Removing the saw blade
1. Swing back the protective cover (17) with the retract-
ing lever (19) and place the product on a level sur-
face.
2. Press and hold the spindle lock (24).
3. Loosen the Allen screw (16) with washer (15) with the
Allen key (26).
4. Remove the Allen screw (16) with washer (15) and the
flange (14).

5. Lift the product, hold back the protective cover (17)
and carefully remove the saw blade (13) downwards
from the fixed protective cover (20).
8.2
Inserting/removing the battery (30)
into/from the battery mount (23)

Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (30) into the battery mount (23). The
battery (30) clicks into place audibly.
Removing the battery
1. Press the unlock button (31) of the battery (30) and
remove it from the battery mount (23).
8.3
Fitting the suction adapter (22)
(Fig. 7)
Notes:
If necessary, you can connect the vacuum hose of a
hoover directly to the suction adapter and to the product
without a reducer piece.
When working with materials that generate dust that is
hazardous to health, the product must be connected to a
suitable, tested, dust class M extraction device.
1. Attach the suction adapter (22) to the chip ejection
(21).
2. Secure the suction adapter (22) with a Phillips head
screw (22b), spring washer (22c) and washer (22d).
3. Connect an approved dust and chip extraction system
to the suction adapter (22).
If necessary, use the reducer piece (22a) depending
on the diameter of the dust and chip extraction sys-
tem.
8.4
Fitting the parallel stop (29) (Fig. 4)
1. Loosen the wing screw (11) for the parallel stop mount
(12) and insert the parallel stop (29) into the parallel
stop mount (12).
2. Set the desired cutting width using the scale (28) on
the parallel stop (29) and the recess in the base plate
(18).
3. Tighten the wing screw (11) for the parallel stop
mount (12).
8.5
Laser
Note:
The button cell batteries are secured with a "plate".
Remove the "plate" before using the product by pulling it
out.
8.5.1
1. Switch the laser (7) on/off as described in 9.4.
2. Open the battery compartment cover (6) by removing
the screw on the battery compartment cover (6).
3. Remove the battery compartment cover (6).
4. Remove the button cell batteries and insert two new
ones.
5. Close the battery compartment cover (6) and fit the
screw.
